KIPP acknowledges in writing that the teachers behavior was inappropriate. There was no consequence as the teacher “...deeply regretted it...”.
Screw that. What exactly did this game entail? It is reasonable to demand that parents know exactly. If KIPP is hiding something, they’re complicit and equally accountable.
Assuming the worst, and we have good reason to, this teacher is demonstrating a lack of judgment and a risk to the students. No matter how mature these middle schoolers may seem, some lines should never be crossed. Someone should be fired.
It was like a charades version of rock paper scissors. They either had to strike a pose as a bear, hunter or hooker.
I’m assuming bear beats hooker, hunter beats bear, and hooker beats hunter...same thing as rock-paper-scissors.
I’m trying to figure out what class this would be for.
Math game theory? Maybe but it sounds unnecessarily vulgar.
