House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is preparing to demand testimony from members of the Manhattan District Attorney’s office as an indictment of former President Donald Trump is expected, according to a report.
Politico reported Monday morning Jordan and other senior Republican leaders are planning to demand testimony from the office as the office appears poised to indict Trump as soon as Tuesday.
“If that happens, Republicans want to have a response ready to go. They say they’re going to investigate the Manhattan District Attorney, who would be bringing these charges against Donald Trump,” Politico‘s Rachel Bade said on Politico Playbook’s podcast on Monday.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told reporters, including from Breitbart News, at the House GOP retreat in Orlando on Sunday there could be some sort of action by Jordan even before a potential indictment — as early as Monday.
The action could including calling in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and other members of his office and putting them under oath and questioning them about the indictment.

I believe, they used to call them House Negroes(not using the real word they used), back in the slave days. The slaves, lucky enough to work in the Democrat Massa's Plantation, instead of in the fields.

Keep in mind that the GOP has preemptively funded Brandon’s admin. They have not a worry in the world. Jordan should be busy zeroing out lines on the DOJ budget but instead he is giving beltway theater performances.
Has Trump already announced he’s running in 2024? If not, he should do it TODAY. And if anything happens tomorrow, he needs to announce that this is CLEARLY “election interference”. You know, the kind that the FBI bent itself into pretzels trying to not be seen doing. (Hillary’s server, anything to do with Biden, etc.)
State charges involving suspected federal campaign fund abuse. The federal part involves the congress. There is a county in Texas where the DA’s keep going after Republicans in similar manner.
Actually, we don’t need to see the charges at all if there is Federal funding behind this. It would amount to election interference. State is State, Federal is Federal.

No but I just have serious doubts about anything coming of it......very frustrating as well as criminaly unfair.
If the alphabet agencies were not in a coma for the last several decades, Soros would have been taken out. His money is behind crooked governors, mayors, district attorneys, cops, US senators, and Congressmen. Soros funds the Deep State and Trump never made him “disappear.” No one has the courage to cut off the head of the snake.
And soros dying ain’t gonna help as he has several offspring waiting to step in.
