Let this play out. I think they both have the right goal. Styles are different. For a variety of reasons they can’t look too close right now. Generals in WW2 didn’t get along but they were all on the same mission.

There is no delivering involved. Scammed up charges by SOROS DA does not make the arrest or the extradition to NY itself illegal. For one thing the arresting officers must go by the warrant not by conflicting opinions on its validity. If you paid attention you would also know the governor does not have the authority to refuse the extradition papers. But mostly I do believe Trump is likely to avoid giving NY DA the satisfaction of seeing him marched out of Mar a Lago under the escort of PBC deputies. Trump will do things on his own terms.

Even if, legally, he has no other choice but to comply? There are limits to what a state governor can do, right? Does anyone here know what those limits are? I’d like to know in case it comes down to an actual arrest vs. just the threat of one currently.

I suspect that is the goal. DeSantis has no legal way to deny extradition. So no matter what he does he is stuck.
