This whole thing is a perfect example of Trump’s horse s#it ability to hire good people. He hired a rat, the rat bit him. Who’s surprised?

Robert Costello, a lawyer who previously advised Michael Cohen, the key government witness in the hush money payment investigation into Donald Trump, has been invited to appear Monday before a Manhattan grand jury, a person familiar with the matter said.
Someone should post his address and phone number so people can show up to support him.
Can the target bring a lawyer? My wife once testified before a grand jury. Her boss was the target, she was innocent and knew nothing of his criminal activities, but it scared the bejeepers out of her. She was accompanied by an attorney who was a family friend. Not having guilty knowledge, or any useful information her time there was brief.
Why, oh why, conservative media adopt the enemy’s premises? “Hush money” has a criminal tone to it. There was absolutely nothing illegal about paying the money; the DA’s bogus charges relate to how it was allegedly repair and/or characterized as “legal expenses.” Why don’t we call every nondisclosure agreement “hush money”?
I’m available to tell the world what a complete dolt this gutter rat is. Rocks are smarter than this guy.

Exclusion of Illegally or Unconstitutionally Obtaining Evidence
The Grand Jury is permitted to consider evidence that was obtained illegally, improperly, or in violation of law.
What ever happened to attorney client privilege?
This is set up like an inquisition.
Another Marxist Kangaroo Court that denies the Constitutional rights of the putative accused.
That’s not a jury, the accused had nothing to do with empaneling it.Its just a bunch of hand picked Marxists seeking political revenge against President Trump.
Take the 5th Mr. President and give them a copious fart on your way out.
Cohen is a real “rear, rebuttal witless” kind of crook.
I’m not a lawyer but I do know how to use the internet.
Statute of Limitations in NY for a misdemeanor: 2 years.
Statute of Limitations in NY for a felony: 5 years.
The Stormy Daniels story was purchased in 2016. It is now 2023. 2023-2016 = 7 I do not know the date of the reimbursement to Cohen, but logically it was after the purchase, so, we are talking 6 years ago. To get around that, Bragg wants to claim Trump wasn’t living in NY much during this period, and somehow this extends the Statute of Limitations (that is absurd — Trump’s whereabouts did not prevent the DA’s office from getting an indictment during the past 7 years; the DA wasn’t pursuing one).
Falsifying a business document is a misdemeanor.
If some other crime is involved in the falsifying, it can be raised to a felony.
In either event, the Statute of Limitations is over.
Apparently DA Bragg to trying to use the federal crime of failing to report a campaign contribution to get the felony upgrade, based on the absurdity that when Trump reimbursed his attorney for buying Stormy Daniels story, he was making a contribution to his own Presidential campaign that he should have reported as such. But Trump has not been charged or convicted of campaign violations; Bragg has no jurisdiction to prosecute federal crimes so claiming that Trump committed a felony on this basis falls flat on its face.
No honest grand jury would issue an indictment on this. No honest judge would fail to dismiss it immediately.
The only thing that is horse sh*t in this thread is your comment.
The Trump businesses employ more than 4,000 people; a few turn out bad.
Show where you employed thousands that walked on water throughout their time of employment.
