You ignored an important part of what I said: or really anybody that’s not just trying to coattail Trump, to comment on a rumor.
Apparently President Trump didn't think it was just a rumor, he got it from legitimate multiple sources.
I think I will trust the President who, up to this point, not lied to me and kept his promises over someone who is trying to defend the inaction of DeSantis.

Nobody other than him has said anything indicating that it’s happening
That makes it the VERY DEFINITION of a rumor.
