Frankly, I don’t think a code of contact, refraining from epithets or any actions will do any good. It is the hotbed of leftism (outside of DC, of course) and the PTB will turn it into whatever fracas they want to portray. And the MSM will be in there colluding with NYC and NYS leftist government. January 6 is the prime example of what they are capable of doing.

The powers that are arrayed against us think nothing of adopting the old terror tactics of tyranny: False charges, unequal justice, Gulag-like imprisonment, and so on.
Not to say, for one moment, that this should dissuade us, or even slow us down. Remember, they simply cannot arrest us all. Even J6, out of the millions that showed up, they managed to arrest 1000, and plan another 1000. That is a tiny fraction of the crowd.
Still, we must be mindful.

It never was about the election of decent individuals into politics,. It was about whether the people themselves were honoring god in their lives
We now have a federal government and many liberals in the state governments and police forces. That will do anything that the media tells them to do because the democrats and the Communist leadership of these organizations are entirely godless and they will round up innocent. People simply because you are next to them
This is what tyranny looks like and they are not going to stop, in fact they’re going to make it a lot worse
I absolutely understand that freepers and many others who were just concerned citizens such as January 6 are not the violent ones at all but it’s going to. Be antifa dressed up in magazine forms. Who are gonna be going out? Doing the things that they normally do only this time they’re going to try and blame trump support.
Don’t do this and if concealed carry is legal in your state. Make sure you are wearing your weapon because the violence that the left is planning will affect. Everyone and it will be started at random and if you’re anywhere near the riots that they’re going to start. Then you’re going to be considered guilty if it looks like you showed up just to be a Patriot.
That’s all obvious no-brainer advice. Problem is, how to get rid of the provocateurs, and they will be there, who will be trying to provoke incidents and entrap demonstrators. That’s the real story of January 6.

DO NOT respond to any provocation (see above); do not enter any Federal buildings, even if invited. GTFOOT ("Get The F/Heck Out Of There" if the protest seems to be taking a sideways turn.
DO NOT BRING ANYTHING THAT CAN BE CONSTRUED AS A WEAPON (pocket knife, large heavy key chain). Don't even let your fingernails grow out.
Be prepared to GTFOOT (maybe even start to get in better shape by running a bit if you're young enough). Don't get caught in the middle of a crowd where you can't escape. If you get away, you will be able to protest again another day.
Maybe sing one of their own protest songs against them ("All we are saying; Is give Peace a chance - and yeah, I know, barf-o-rama). Confuse them - chant their own slogans.
If you can, at all, LEAVE YOUR CELL PHONE SOMEWHERE ELSE. They can't track you if you don't bring your personal tracking device with you.
If the Governor of New York and the Mayor of NYC had any Cajones, Bragg would have been removed from office months ago.

Your right to protest peacefully is over because the left has taken it away by having your peaceful protest infiltrated by the FIBs and antifa in order to cause a riot in which you will be arrested and stuffed in a gulag without a speedy trial.

Interesting how blacks, Antifa-BLM, homosexuals and some other fringe elements in times past did not care about arrest or government at protests and caused far more damage than conservatives did or would and yet many of us are afraid to protest. What does it take for the people to finally say, “We don’t care what you do, we PROTEST!!!
