Well, they’d better find alternative ways to heat their homes and treat their water.

Not really. This gives them time to gaslight and demonize gas appliances.

Something must have happened since I left that area. I don’t recall their being an acid rain problem there, ever. I wonder where all this electric is going to be coming from to run the vehicles, gas powered furnaces et al.

They better figure out a way to burn human feces scraped off the sidewalks or they’re not going to have a heating source.

They will eventually feel the consequences. I have no empathy, although I grow concerned that PA will follow CA’s lead despite sitting on one of the world’s largest natural gas deposits.

So they're pushing for electric (tankless) water heaters and electric furnaces - at a time when California electricity generation is already over-burdened and blackouts in the Bay Area are already a thing.
This plan might make sense if the Bay Area was busy building multiple new nuclear reactors. As it is, it makes no sense at all.

Our Lenox gas furnace is probably 30 years old (maybe 35) which is probably way past its predicted life span. It has worked well and has only required one ignitor change-out in all those years! It’s really quite amazing.
I was hoping I wouldn’t have to change it out before I pass, but the GOD DAMNED bastards have now pushed me into a corner. There’s another huge expense I wasn’t planning on.
Every single day I wake up with more reasons to HATE our state and federal governments.

When the electricity goes out in the San Francisco Bay area, residents will be allowed to burn Regulators for heating and cooking.

Why not just ban natural gas? Problem solved!
If you live in a place like Lake Tahoe, the winters will be brutal, but hey, you voted for this crap so enjoy the suck!
