Controversial exiled Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui — an associate of former Trump White House advisor Steve Bannon — was arrested Wednesday in New York for allegedly orchestrating a complex $1 billion fraud scheme that duped online followers with promises of outsized investment returns.
Guo allegedly used some of the money raised through his company GTV Media and other entities to buy a 50,000-square foot New Jersey mansion, a $37 million yacht, a $3.5 million Ferrari for his son, a $140,000 Bosendorfer piano and two Hasten 2000T mattresses that cost a whopping $36,000 apiece.
Prosecutors seized more than $650 million in alleged fraud proceeds from 21 different bank accounts and assets that included a Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster automobile as part of the case against Guo and his financial advisor William Je in Manhattan federal court.
Guo, 52, pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon in Manhattan. He postponed a bail application until his lawyers return from out of town. A public defender who handled the hearing for Guo had no comment.
A fire broke out as FBI agents searched a Manhattan penthouse apartment owned by Guo on Wednesday, an agency spokesperson said. The agents noticed smoke coming from a light fixture and called 911 around noon ET.
The New York Fire Department extinguished the blaze, the cause of which is under investigation by a bomb squad. Guo was in custody before the fire started.

One of my favorite shows watching re-runs every afternoon after school. Star Trek was probably number one though. They sort of merged when Nimoy went to MI.
Meanwhile, Hunter and Joe still receive SS protection.
right. Guo gets the same treatment as Trump, Kolfage, Bannon, Navarro, etc., and of course J6. All the real crooks are out raking in more money. Glad he pleaded not-guilty.
No better way to take down the CCP than to allegedly buy your kid a $3.5 million dollar Ferrari.
If only he made videos with hookers & blow (like the vegetable’s son), he would have been okay.
I’ve asked for years what the significance of the Chinese guy is on the intro to the show. Is he supposed to represent the evil CCP?
The FBI was involved. It’s just another political hit job. That’s what I immediately think because I have lost all trust in government. The FBI has no credibility. It’s difficult to change my mind because I will doubt any evidence the FBI manufactured and planted. There is no reforming the FBI. Law enforcement needs to be purely local.

No, he is a dissident of China, and owns the record company that produced the "Take, Down, the CCP" theme song, which was an international hit prior to being used by War Room.
The weird thing is when I looked up the song it was a different song completely then the intro song.

...that doesn’t have something do with the FBI bugging a place?
Wasn’t it during the Obama admin that Interpol was invited into the US (presumably working with the FBI) and at a time the Chinese actually had one of their guys heading it or in a top office of it?

Multiple videos and images purportedly showing Hunter Biden engaging in sexual acts with several women and using drugs were uploaded on a Chinese digital video platform Saturday evening.
The videos and images appear to be uploaded by a single user on GTV, with many of the photos seemingly from a third-party laptop. GTV, a subsidiary of GTV Media Group, was founded in April 2020 by Chinese billionaire Guo Wengui and Steve Bannon, a former senior adviser to President Trump.
“U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden is 100% controlled by the Chinese Communist Party as one of the most successful political instances of the BGY program,” the text in one of the videos reads. “He is also a target of the CCP’s 3F plan, which aims to ‘fall, fail, and fell,’ to weaken, destroy and kill America!”..../snip
