It really begs the question, what does this Prime Minister have to hide?' asked Conservative MP Michael Cooper.

OTTAWA — Liberal MPs once again spent hours Tuesday filibustering a parliamentary committee meeting to prevent Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s chief of staff, Katie Telford, from testifying about allegations of Beijing’s interference in past elections.

...

Conservative MP Michael Cooper.. It’s been now more than 14 hours over four days that the Liberal MPs on this committee have been filibustering for hours and hours and hours on a very simple motion to have the prime minister’s chief of staff, Katie Telford, testify before this committee,”

“It really begs the question, what does this prime minister have to hide?”

...

The Liberals are dug-in to continue the filibuster at PROC to avoid a vote on my motion to call Katie Telford to testify on Beijing's election interference.

They are desperate to shield the Chief of Staff and continue to cover-up what the Prime Minister knows.

I hate the misuse of the word liberal. They are the opposite of that. They are tyrannical. Tyrannical fascists I’m the true sense of the word.

Sounds like some people there are tipped off on what China is doing.

Be interesting to see how the US reacts if things go all the way between China and Canada with a free trade pact and Chinese bases, with nuclear weapons on the US border.

Will the Ukraine Cheerleaders also defend the right of Canada to do what they please with the #1 US enemy, in that case?

Katie Telford would lie through her teeth anyways.

They should be investigating interference by the leftist element of American Democratic party during the Canadian elections... They openly supplied Trudeau (and other Liberal candidates) with ‘consultants’ to ‘assist’ and ‘guide them’ during elections.

The leftist movement is insidious and spares no effort to subvert and infiltrate all political systems throughout the globe... They successfully compromised the American Democratic party.

Getting loony left candidates like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Abdullahi Omar elected is evidence enough of that... Two people who’s views are obviously warped and completely un-American like.

the only reason Trudeau is still in power is because he’s propped up by the support of Jagmeet Singh’s NDP ... if it was just a question of competence, Trudeau would have been gone long ago

the Federal Budget comes down March 28, it is - by definition - a “confidence vote”, meaning a majority of Parliament has to support it, or the Government falls and a federal election is called

the Conservatives are obviously voting against it, so we’ll see if Singh’s party continues to help these turkeys

two weeks ...

What do you think of Pierre Poilievre? I must say, I’m very impressed with what I’ve seen from him so far, and I think he’d make for an excellent PM.

yes, he’s smart and sensible

and I think Trudeau’s blatant corruption has made an impression on him, and he’ll try to run a clean Government

“one of the good guys” ... we need more
