Maryland aspires to become California.
This could get ugly, as we are compelled/forced, whatever the right term is, to get electric cars, whether we want them or not, whether the electrical grid can handle the charging of those vehicles or not.

Not yet. But gas will be even more expensive. There will be a "carbon tax" because it's "bad" for the environment.
Gas cars will become much more valuable when you can’t get a new one. Of course, getting parts might be a problem.

That exact thought occurred to me today when another of MANY flat-bed trailers with older cars rolled by me on the Interstate. Savvy mechanics and body repair guys are already aware that demand for gas and diesel powered vehicles is sure to increase as this EV nonsense grows.
This plan means people will be spending 4 to 6 hours in line to get charged.

I’m aware there’s a hell of a lot of fools on the loose, but I doubt many of them are demented enough to spend 4/6 hours in a charger line!

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Wednesday it is opening a preliminary investigation into 120,000 Tesla Model Y vehicles after two reports of steering wheels falling off while driving.
The auto safety regulator said the steering wheels in both 2023 model year vehicles, which had low mileage, completely detached.
They will be exempt of course.
