Ron DeSantis Is Definitely Running
He presents himself as a serious, forward-leaning, pro-business, antiwoke conservative Republican.

The first GOP presidential debate is five months away, in August. Primaries begin about six months after. This thing is on. Some observations on Ron DeSantis.
The Florida governor is definitely running. Every sign is there: donors, a growing and increasingly professional organization, a book that is part memoir, part platform and debuted this week at No. 1 on the New York Times list. A few days ago he gave a big, packed-house speech at the Reagan Library.
He’s come off a landslide 2022 re-election (almost 20 points) in which he won majorities of Hispanics, independents and women. He is 44, governor of a major state that was purple and has gone red, and there is no way (barring the unanticipated) he is not in. I read him as a guy who thinks you get a moment in politics, a magic moment, and when it comes you move because you don’t know if it will ever come again. “They’ll forget me,” 43-year-old John F. Kennedy said when advised to wait and go for the presidency in 1964. No, he’d made a splash at the 1956 convention, 1960 was his shot, move now or never.

Sorry. That does not tell us anything. Follow the money is a much surer gauge. I don’t trust any of these politicos including DeSantis.
Trump may be unconventional and aggressive but he is in no one’s pocket and fight unceasingly for America & all Americans. Like Ulysses Grant.
Because he should be a patriot and do what’s right for America. If he did that and didn’t take $$ from those plotting to prevent Americans from regaining prosperity and security he wouldn’t be attracting fire. He should serve the term of office he just won. He should put America above his personal ambition & lust for $ & power.

Trump should get rid of his ego, and learn from Reagan, but he won’t.
Silly. Trump is fighting for America, exposing the sordid undergarments of politics and people mischaracterize as ego in ignorance or to advance their agenda.
Plain speaking is seriously undervalued in today’s society while mealy mouth and gaslighting is all the rage.
A man without ego is ineffective and quite honestly no such man exists. Just like racism, big ego is a one size fits all technique to disparage and blunt the unwelcome truth of what is being said.
LOL. Get a new schtick that one is tired. DeSantis is putting self above Country just as Cruz did. It will work out just as well for DeSantis as it did for Cruz.
