If the US blew up 2 pipelines that supply their allies from Russia.
The water is going to be hotter, it would also be a partial reasoning to take out the drone.
These idiots are most likely, going to get a lot of us killed.
Even if it wasn’t providing targeting info, surveillance would be sufficient.
But it didn't get shot down. The Russian jet hit the rear-mounted propeller of the MQ-9. Ramming is not the first choice to take out a target.
99%? Giving a benefit of the doubt?
Good luck buying a General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper for civilian and peaceful purposes.
WTF?
USA is backing Ukraine, and these women (LOL, but no offense meant to real women) think environmental concerns are worth mentioning?
SMH - the deflection and misdirection is strong these days.
Competence and Russia is an oxymoron.
I don’t blame Oceania for what Eurasia did.
Perhaps the Russian jet was trying to disable the drone with its jet wash and miscalculated
That may be but we ourselves are deemphasizing competence now in favor of wokeism.

Yes. There’s a chance the drone was really being used to fight the #1 threat of our time, Climate Change.
(just kidding)
“I just can’t believe a Russian fighter pilot would be so incompetent to crash into the rear of another aircraft. Ergo, the drone had to have been shot down.”
My father was a pilot in the USAAF during WWII, and was in the ETO. After Germany surrendered he was in Germany for a spell and he said that on the airfield where he was there were some Russian pilots, as well. He said Russian pilots were nuts, and would pull some stunts as a matter of routine that no American pilot would ever try except in the direst of emergencies, because it would get them grounded. He said Russian pilots crashed all the time. He said they were probably just showing off, usually with fatal consequences. He said it wasn’t bravery; it was stupidity.
I imagine the US drones flying around that area allow the UKEs to “see” lots of things. I can imagine that irritated the Muscovites,
But, unlike Russia…we have more drones to take its place.
“The US Surveillance drone was likely being used to provide targeting information against Russian personnel. In so doing, the drone may well have been acting as a combatant in this war and therefore it could have been a legitimate military target.”
More likely it was keeping tabs on the three Russian missile cruisers that have sortied in the Black Sea.
Like ramming a containership with a destroyer? That kind of imcompetence?
Was this in the Tonkin Gulf area of Crimea?
this would never happen to Combat Sent
Crazy Ivan comes to mind.
“Perhaps the Russian jet was trying to disable the drone with its jet wash and miscalculated.”
Could be.
Yes and we had Bud Holland, the rogue pilot that crashed his B-52 after having maneuvered it beyond its operational limits at low altitude.
