He had (has?) a syndicated radio talk show, “Handel on the Law.” It was kind of like Dr. Laura for legal issues instead of relationships. People would call in to say they received an eviction notice and ask how they should respond to it, and he’d call them an idiot for not paying their rent...

I liked him when he was on. KDKA had him on Sunday afternoons. It was a different type of show and very fun to listen to.
Yes, his shtick was funny for about 10 minutes, then he became quite obnoxious.

Is he the legal radio host who, when people call in with their legal questions, he responds based upon California law? When it comes to evictions, he thinks all states are like California and landlords through-out the nation have no legal rights whatsoever. As to debt owed, he thinks creditors have no rights and there is always a law which allows a debtor to default on their debt without any repercussions. Maybe I’m thinking about another show, but the Handel name sounds familiar.
