Remove valuables or destroy
Withdrawal to 1-2 airports and remove troops.

He actually intended for the wealth and friends to fall into enemy hands. I don’t see any other possibilities? Do you?

No, just very stupid. And Biden wasn’t at fault, because he is a potted plant. The US executive is a strange sort of committee. It was likely the usual incoherence and competing agendas of committee leadership. Add in bureaucratic stovepiping and myopia among multiple agencies besides the Pentagon itself, which engaged in egregious micromanagement.
The whole system is sick.
Think of the contribution that tens of thousands of Afghan refugees could have made in the northern tier States.
