FTC Demands To Know Which Journalists had Access to Twitter Files
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 3/7/23 | Sundance

Posted on 03/07/2023 9:56:12 PM PST by CFW

In a Republican administration the leftist media would be going bananas asking why the Federal Trade Commission is requiring Twitter to notify them of which journalists have had access to internal communication files. Alas, with a Democrat administration in office, the FTC demand is not an issue.

It would appear the mechanisms of government are aligned to fight back against any sunlight that might be provided upon the government manipulation of the social media platform.

In a profound display of institutional hubris, the U.S. government claims they are concerned about user privacy as the justification for their involvement.

Tell the FTC to attempt a rapid aerial seduction of a perforated rolling pastry.

Just say no. There is no reason to domicile a company in the US.

Just say no and relocate. I know this sounds over simplified but I have seen other companies do it for other good reasons. One is to be relatively untouchable.

For quite some time now the protection of the US military in overseas operations has been of limited advantage. This has been one reason companies like Exxon remain domiciled in the US. That reason has faded. Unless there are others, leave. You don’t even need ADRs to trade shares.

The US is becoming just not worth the trouble if an alternative can be found. Switzerland comes to mind. One reason for reticence in moving is the hope that things will get better. I don’t think they will and if they do no move has to be wholesale and can be reversed if desired. If not, stay here and get your brains beat out by the fascists who are now in power.

Who believes we will have another successful fair and free election with a conservative winner for a significant time? Hold up your hands. Who believes we will have a conservative leaning electorate soon that will prevail for a long time? Raise your hand.

Knowing when to leave can be the smartest thing that anyone can do. Most people are guilty of staying too long instead of going to soon.

The clear response is publish the files to the general public and then say “all of them”.

A company gives an exclusive story to a journalist. Is there some law that every corporation must share every news story with ALL media outlets?

Does this mean that woke companies must include Fox, in all press releases?

You mean British born Lena Khan? It's very sad that no American born folks were available for the position. Seems to really be a problem in D.C.
