Oh, he was definitely murdered. The question of who/what he was (POW, deserter, coward, killer of other fellow unit soldiers, etc?) remains with me as well as the question of who murdered him and why. He and his shooter(s) seemed to be familiar with one another and there was a lot if animosity there. What was the source of that animosity?
I wish I understood Ukrainian/Russian. Did he say “Glory to Ukraine” in a mocking or sarcastic way or as a patriot. I can’t tell.
