The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions will hold a hearing on March 22 to discuss the pricing of the COVID-19 vaccines. Pfizer and Moderna are preparing to offer their vaccines in the private sector, without the federal government covering the cost. This will be necessary, given that the COVID-19 national and public health emergencies will expire on May 11. This will also shift the cost burden to health insurance companies, or for some people, be an out-of-pocket expense, although Moderna has indicated they will provide their vaccine at no cost to the uninsured and underinsured.
The federal government has been paying between $15 to $31 per dose for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Both companies have proposed prices between $110 and $130, around four times higher.

Whether they are factually dangerous or not, I know the seed of doubt has grown inside even supporters of the vaccines. They will not admit it publicly, but booster rates are dropping to almost nothing. Once my MSM following mother told me she was scared to get another one, I knew that something has changed.
This vaccine is about to hit a death spiral in further use.
Who cares? Why would anyone want one?
oh yes, they were free, and now that the mRna has altered your immune system, if you want to stay alive you will need more boosters... ahem, and now they cost... $450 a shot, every three months... no, make that $650 every two months.

On another subject, has anyone noticed the latest push to get Shingles Vaccine? I had physical today and Dr. asked 3 times if I wanted one. Does Covid Vax allow for Shingles to manifest at younger age now? I’m only 55. Thought Shingles was old person concern. I said NO. Medical Profession has lost my trust!!
Doesn’t matter, cause i won’t be getting one anyways.

Absolutely, I just had my yearly physical at the VA and they pushed the hell out of the shingles vax. I've heard a lot of other people saying the same. In any case, it was weird. I'm 51 and have never been offered that shot before.
I turned down every shot they offered.
The medical profession has lost my trust, too.
