Man folks here are so old God love u
I’m old too but I live close to bonaroo
You made me chuckle
Bonnaroo is held in Manchester Tennessee every year.
Down on a farm in middle TN.
Mostly just a woodstock style thing.
Don’t miss the bonfire lol
Problem I have with the festival is few bands I’m gonna sweat in Tennessee summer to see
And what was wrong with itchycoo park btw
That’s Coachella.
They seem to get rained out every year.
I’ve never seen or heard of a drag show there but the worm has turned on that
And almost no children
When I was a kid you could drink in Louisiana at six
Bourbon had a couple of clubs maybe three that did cross dressing shows
La Cage au Faux
Gunga Din
Guys and Dolls
Sparkly crap sing a song prance around in lingerie
It was a show like the champagne girl etc
Laughed with and laughed at
No indoctrination none of that crap
I remember think it was funny
But I was more interested where the real girls were
All that seems quaint now
I grew up two hours from New Orleans
We went 100s of times family visits and business and food
And a couple of those shows
It was like absurd comedy
I actually know quite a few conservatives who voted for Trump to go to bonaroo hate to break it up y’all
I live here and they paid the big bucks to take the nice RV or prevost
I just don’t like the heat in late June
The law doesn’t prohibit drag shows in private venues. Only in public venues where children may gather such as public libraries.
Diversity and inclusion do not mix and I want neither.
The groomers are really feeling full of themselves these days.
I'm of the opinion that rock concerts/festivals don't need to be child-friendly. Really, 13 and up. That was the age I started going to concerts, first with my mom and then with my friends.
Of course, it goes without saying that the transgender lobby is absolutely fighting for access to young children.
Spot on...people visiting the area for the first time have always pegged Johnson City as the most ‘leftist/pro-gay’ of the Tri-Cities.
You didn’t get the sarcasm of my post
I did not mean for it to sound like I was scolding and I apologize if it came off that way the funny thing is Bonnaroo is actually rather tame if you want to go to a real rock festival try the Sedalia Mountain music festival 1974
No that was a wild festival
Drugs everywhere open market I have not been there 30 minutes and I saw a couple screwing in the dirt buck naked like animals
I was 16 years old and we drove about five hours I think from Jackson Mississippi
The 70s you had to be there
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ozark_Music_Festival
And the music was much better I think Lynyrd Skynyrd and maybe Aerosmith and BTO and many other top tier 1974 groups
It’s maybe the benchmark for a festival gone crazy
Several years ago, the Dallas Police department reiterated that public decency law against nudity during “pride” events would be maintained and violators prosecuted. This enraged homosexual activists who said that that imposed on “who they are.”
It’s fairly tame sexual deviancy wise
This is a dynamically changing situation, not static at all.
Tell the pervs what they cannot do, and they will fight tooth and nail to do these things, even if they've never publicly done them before.
If you ain’t got fags in drag, you ain’t inclusive!
