My rule of thumb on that is if we’re talking about arming
those nations to the teeth, or if we are simply offering
them light arms and the promise to come to their aid if
they are attacked.
The Ukraine was not a serious threat to Russia. If it had
been, Russia wouldn’t have marched to within seven miles
of downtown KEIV. It wouldn’t have gotten across the
border at all.
Nah, I’m not buying what’s been peddled on this forum.
Really, NATO itself was never configured, armed, or funded to fight much more than a defensive war. Some punch-backs here and there, sure, but a push to Moscow? No way. Take and hold significant swaths or Russian territory? Again, no way. And certainly not after the Clinton years.
