That’s a fair question. I would have preferred Kathy Barnette. Yes, there was a problem with Barnette. She was unpolished and inexperienced. In a way she reminded me of Sarah Palin. The state GOP could have nursed her along. Instead they went with a flashy Hollywood outsider.

Yep. Then we had some GOP senators saying stupid things related to that right before the election. That sure didn’t help.
Kathy was not Senate Material. She was female and black. Is that how we now pick our candidates?...like the Dems??
