NSA Sullivan: China Has Not Taken the Step of Providing Weapons to Russia – ‘We Are Watching Closely’
Breitbart ^ | 02/26/2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 02/26/2023 10:13:40 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that U.S. officials have not seen China “take the step of providing weapons to Russia” to aid their efforts in the war in Ukraine.

Partial transcript as follows:

RADDATZ: The administration has also warned China not to offer lethal military assistance to Russia. What can you share about what China could do?

SULLIVAN: Well, all I can say is what you’ve heard from the secretary of state, you’ve heard from other officials in the administration, and you just heard from President Biden, which is, we have, at this point, not seen them take the step of providing weapons to Russia for purposes of the war in Ukraine. We are watching closely. We know they haven’t taken it off the table. And we are sending a clear message, as are our European allies, that this would be a real mistake because those weapons would be used to bombard cities and kill civilians, and China should want no part of that.

The Russians should be very diligent and cautious. If the Chinese start supplying munitions, they will probably be transported on the trans Siberian railroad. During the Biden Administration there seems to be many catastrophic and disastrous train derailments and wrecks in areas that do not support Biden.

take the step of providing weapons to Russia
——-
They certainly will, if no other reason but to test their products against the collective West in the field. Perfect opportunity!

Medved just mentioned in his last speech they are very pleased with the US made captured weapons- he even went as far to say “ We have learned a few things”.

Do recall a few of our M1 tanks were destroyed in Iraq by advanced Russian RPGs, supplied to test them out….there are still a few M1 hulks sitting in Anniston awaiting rebuild and being cannibilized.

Russia’s factories are churning out munitions on a massive scale, but I suppose there are areas where China could shore up some shortages.

SHOULD? Whether China does or doesn't, it sure as heck won't be an issue of Russia being overly naughty in targeting.

I notice these clowns can’t control or find where a bunch of balloons in the sky come from, but they sure as hell have a close idea on whether China is supplying Russia with any munitions.

And what if they were? How about the US and China not give Russia or Ukraine anything? Sounds fair.

How confident is anyone in US intelligence that we can monitor arms transfers from China to Russia?

This sounds like cover for China whom Biden calls a competitor, not an adversary.

True, Vlad has his 6-8 arms manufacturers working round the clock preparing quote” for a 30 month war against NATO. Reference Medveds speeches.

Fact is China needs to test their weapons against Western arms…Biden’s Ukie war-a match made in heaven.

My money goes on Vlad, he lacks nothing -metals, propellants, manufacturing equipment, ditto with China’s massive production capability.
