Wealthy Bay Area town grapples with 'attack on whiteness' controversy

Town council members in the Bay Area town of Los Gatos censured one of its planning commissioners last week for writing an email that included what some say is racist language toward white people.

Why won’t Los Gatos Town Council finally take action and eliminate white people from Los Gatos?

I used to live in Los Gatos and loved it there. The housing division that I lived in was built in the 1950s. Actually my house was built in 1949 and when that division was built It was illegal to sell to a Japanese person or to have a Japanese person live there. Because of World War II, of course.

SFGate certainly doesn’t seem to think so.

Note how they bemoan the fact LG is 70% White in a state that is “just” 35% White.

How awful. Time to bring in the DIE team to get that ethnic balance where it’s supposed to be!

Oddly I recall when CA was 72% White (1980s) and they cooed “not to worry, it won’t change much from this”. And LG was like 95% White. Now they think it’s a crime that we live here at all.

Actually, the Japanese were discriminated against in California even before the war. There was a long-standing anti-Asian sentiment. Perhaps reparations are in order...
