If COVID was going to kill anyone it would have been the end of my dear mother, who is 85 years old, has severe COPD, and can't walk across a room with her walker without stopping to breathe.

When she got Delta (a week after me) she had a modest headache for a few hours and that was it. What worked for her ...

Some have speculated that her COPD inhaler medicine might have also helped. COVID has subsided enough that I probably won't share these details in the future, but I do think it's significant because she is/was the "weakest amongst us".

After 3 years, my wife & I finally succumbed to Covid this week. We have not been vaxed. Other than the fever…I’ve had much worse colds than this. The fever does drag me down and causes a bad headache…but when the fever is low, I feel fine. Some of our family wanted us to get Paxlovid, but we declined. Not going to risk it. Once past, we will have a strong natural immunity.
