Diversity at the forefront
Today, United has one of the most diverse pilot populations of any U.S. carrier with nearly 20% of our pilot group made up of women or people of color. We are working toward raising that number even higher by partnering with diversity-led organizations and continuing to remove gender and racial barriers. And we’re going one step further with plans for 50% of United Aviate Academy students to be women or people of color to ensure our students reflect the diversity of the customers and communities we serve.
Ypu are a fool. The PRC is bound to be our adversary and in certain important ways China has become culturally superior to the US. The slack, decadent, and depraved social order of wokism is no match for the relentless focused determination of China. In spite of all the self glorifying propaganda, the US has won its wars by overwhelming force and technological muscle. Today we face an opponent that has the numbers, geographic depth and technological base to offset what has been the US’s advantages. War with China will be a very unpleasant experience and there is no reason to believe the sort of leadership class the US has will muster the raw determination to do what ever has to be done to win. Goodness, according to how we view the world has absolutely nothing to do with victory. Americans delude themselves that they are the Almighty’s favorite and thier version of morality makes them superior, it doesn’t. There is no moral order in the universe of nations, only win or lose. When did the US last win a big battlefield victory? Have you forgotten the exit from Kabul? Small war but indicative of what passes for national leadership in the US and the American people just shrugged off and went back to porn viewing.

They know their skills & they know their jobs.

Haven’t flown since 1996 and have no plans to in the future.
I prefer to drive and enjoy all our wondrous country has to offer. Something you can’t get from 25,000 feet.
Nothing will change until enough “liberal/leftist” politicians or their family members are injured or die in airline accidents.
The left are the worst people on the planet. The only time they truly care irrespective of their ideology is when it impacts them personally.
Its not just the airlines, it is all big defense contractors and any other big industry that makes complicated things. I work in an avionics industry. We are living off the good works of the past 30 years. The new crews, and mostly the new management approach will ensure that nothing complicated is going to be built successfully going forward. Our complicated military equipment will not be able to be built going forward. 20 years ago success and excellence mattered. Now it is feelings and inclusiveness. Planes will crash, but at least the incompetents got respected during the design process.
The lesson starts in childhood. Your little friend can take things out of the closet and toy chest a lot faster than you can clean up after he leaves the mess to you.
Just happy I don’t fly anymore but someone close to me flys a lot.

The industry union is senority based. These people, no mater how incompetent they may be will be senior to many people who know much much m better than they do. They won’t last, they will get up and leave the right seat. If they have any sense or sense of survival that is what they will do.
Merit is the only thing that keeps people alive. Nothing else will do.
