Party leaders are unquestionably complicit in the premature deaths of their own supporters.
No country has a perfect COVID-vaccination rate, even this far into the pandemic, but America’s record is particularly dismal. About a third of Americans—more than a hundred million people—have yet to get their initial shots. You can find anti-vaxxers in every corner of the country. But by far the single group of adults most likely to be unvaccinated is Republicans: 37 percent of Republicans are still unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated, compared with 9 percent of Democrats. Fourteen of the 15 states with the lowest vaccination rates voted for Donald Trump in 2020. (The other is Georgia.)
We know that unvaccinated Americans are more likely to be Republican, that Republicans in positions of power led the movement against COVID vaccination, and that hundreds of thousands of unvaccinated Americans have died preventable deaths from the disease. The Republican Party is unquestionably complicit in the premature deaths of many of its own supporters, a phenomenon that may be without precedent in the history of both American democracy and virology.

In 1857, publisher Moses Dresser Phillips called his new magazine “Atlantic” (Monthly) because he wanted to claim the legitimacy of his authors supposedly being read across the pond. Nobody gave a damn in London or Paris, but its American writers and readers felt superior for the name.
Today, it’s even more of a Eurofag wannabe publication than when Phillips created it.
Another brain dead article by another brain dead tyrannical buffoon. View people are against vaccines, many people are against unproven experimental forced medical experiments. .
“Hmm. I’ve gotten four of them. I think I’ve proved that vaccinated people can still post on FR after death.”
I truly hope you live a long life. The 7.5% number comes from the insurance company’s actuarial Assoc. BTW. I trust they know what their talking about. I think you can take that to the bank, since that’s what they get paid for...
That just means it’s working

Are Democrats complicit in every death that occurred as a rection to the vaccine?
I don’t care where it comes from, it remains mathematically impossible when you get to some ages.
Mass dose of D3 and C knocked it out in less than a day for me. Because of all the background buzz about putting the MRNA WuFlu vax in some or all other types of injections has made me wary of getting shots for anything at all. The first and last flu shot I got was at the AF induction physical in 1966. I never had worse flu than I got after that shot.
Real life turned against the jab narrative. It failed to do what it was supposed to and turned out to have a level of side effects and deaths well in excess of what has ever been considered acceptable in a “vaccine”.
Those who are complicit are the ones who marketed it as almost civilization ending epidemic like the Plague of Justinian or the Black Death in the Middle Ages. The “over-the-top marketing” stampeded one and all into “over-the-top response” which included rushed therefore high-risk vaccines, poorly thought-out quarantine rules, unnecessary societal shutdowns and mandates. The original panic-mongers are the real criminals!
HCQ (hydroxychloroquine) not HCL (hydrochloric acid).
We don't need any sequels to the "Trump told people to take bleach" lie.
There is no “anti-vax” movement with regard to COVID; that was a paranoid movement long before COVID. The current concerns about MRNA vaccines are wholly different. The technology is wholly different, to the point that they aren’t been vaccines in the traditional sense. The concerns are different and the results are different. To lump it all together as “anti-vax” is simply uninformed hysteria. Two different phenomena, socially, scientifically, politically and economically.
There is overwhelming evidence that vaccines cause death in some cases. There is growing evidence that MRNA vaccines cause large numbers of deaths. This is a scientific issue, not one of a political movement. I’ve taken all standard vaccinations my entire life. All. I’m no anti-vaxxer but I sure as hell won’t take any more MRNA ones, based on a lack of safety evidence and growing threat signals in the data. To challenge concerns over these gene therapies as “anti-vax” is itself a conspiracy theory. Think about it : you’re positing that there is some sinister “movement” that for some unknown reason wants to destroy an entirely new technology and medical advancement. That sounds extremely paranoid to me.
The folks here call themselves anti-vaxx. That’s who I’m referring to.
I’m not paranoid at all.
I’m a Republican, and I’m still alive. So I guess that means I must be grandma killer.
Heads you win, tails I lose.
The vaccine is useless with many horrible side effects. This is pure government propaganda pushed by government controlled corporations.
I don’t think there are any liberals in San Francisco.
Can you explain what you mean by that?
I believe it had been developed as a bio-weapon and just sitting there waiting to be used — against us. Covid was developed later as a vehicle to rationalize using the vax — against us.
My fellow non-GMO friends and I are all going strong.
Up yours, Atlantic.
