Students at a New Hampshire high school and middle school staged a walkout after the school board banned urinals and shared locker rooms amid a dispute over separating bathrooms based on sex not gender identity.

How can it have a “negative impact of their mental health” when they are already crazy?
As somebody pointed out “If you don’t let me have my way I’ll kill myself” is peak little kid stuff.
Call their bluff. Simple as that, there is no negotiation with little kids, we don’t let them decide to have chocolate ice cream for dinner or run the finances.
You are correct. Totally screwy article.
I have the same problem as you understanding the wording used.
My Japanese mother in law has better English, and it took me three years to decode her accent and sentence structure.
I read the article twice and couldn’t figure out exactly what the debate was about, who supported what, or where they might lie in the social/political spectrum.
It was full of nonsense, post-modern cliches like “student safety,” and “negative impact on LQBTQ mental health.”
Pure confusion
What’s a shared locker room?
Are the students expected to wear their athletic uniforms to school? I’m guessing that’s not it.
It’s obviously not that biological males can’t be in the same locker room as biological females.
Is it that students identifying as males use the male locker room and those identifying as females use the female locker room, but biological males not identifying as females can’t share a locker room with students identifying as female;
biological females not identifying as male can’t share a locker room with students identifying as male.
I should also add “at the same time.” The visiting football team used the girls’ locker room when I was in school.
Or is it that there are individual stalls rather than a bench with rows of lockers on each side? They’d better give up football in that case too - the locker room at my school would have been too small for that.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
I gather that the guys are not happy about urinals being prohibited, which makes sense.
I also think that the shared changing areas are wrong. For those LGBT confused individuals, why not just do what someone suggested, change in a bathroom stall.
They are looking for special privileges. If they want an ordinary high school experience, live like an ordinary boy/girl as you were born.
And if you are not sure, just go by anatomy, you know like actual science as in biology.
Extraordinary times we live in where this can even be an issue, and that we have kids doing walkouts and be able to get away with it like they are in charge.
What a loser generation.

Miss the bowl, entirely, every time. Apologize sincerely for your...problem.
It was confusing. I guess they wanted to make bathrooms based on the delusions of the students, but they couldn’t do that because of opposition, so they thought that removing the urinals from the boys´ bathrooms would have that effect.
The boys - and probably the girls as well - don’t like it.
That is admitting that trannies are mentally ill.
“You are so right it’s horribly written. I can’t tell if the walkouts are pro or anti trans. Can someone help a dumb ass like me out please?”
When you consider the fact the author is probably a member of the stupid group that can’t tell which restroom to use it is easier to understand why the article is so confusing.
It is a very confusing article.
Need a link to another article. Include interviews. Etc.
OK, so those aren’t allowed any more. Are they all separate stalls now (or going to be)?
