California’s Surging Energy Bills Are Its Own Fault. A jump in demand for natural gas, supply constraints and aging infrastructure have left the region vulnerable to price spikes

No excerpt allowed from Bloomberg, story here, archived here. The article says there is a shortage of natural gas in California and that new pipelines to transport are not being built. The existing ones are old and can stop working due to extreme weather. Bloomberg, both the man and the site, push green energy, so it surprised me that they published this.

🙄 Natural gas won’t be an issue before long in caulifourkneeyuh. NVEnergy keeps bumping ours up while claiming to be seeking the best product for the best price. I can hardly wait for ALL our power to come from wind panels and solar turbines. You would think that some of these assclowns would know, no oil, crappy civilization. Fidiots!

From the article:
Lance Hastings, chief executive officer of California Manufacturers & Technology Association, said that while residential customers might be able to limit the use of gas in their homes to offset price hikes, businesses don’t have that option. They can stick it out or, in what he calls a “worst-case scenario,” relocate to somewhere cheaper.
And lots of them are doing exactly that.

What no mention of money grubbing gross outrageous profits?
Or price gouging like they claim gasoline companies, including the service station owners are doing?
