During its Q1 2023 earnings report, Disney confirmed that Disney Plus lost subscribers for the first time in its history. Between October and December 2022, the streaming platform's global user base shrunk by 2.4 million.
The main reason for this drop in users? Disney Plus Hotstar, the version of the streamer that's available in India and Southeast Asia. Some 3.8 million customers canceled their subscriptions between October 2022 and January 2023.
Luckily for Disney, the impact of that sizable blow was minimized somewhat by an increase in subscribers elsewhere. In North America, Disney added 200,000 new customers to its user base, while in non-North American territories (outside of India and Southeast Asia), its subscriber base grew by 1.2 million.
In total, Disney Plus's total user base now stands at 161.8 million, down from 164.2 million in October 2022. With Netflix adding 7.66 million new users in Q4 2022 – taking its overall total to over 231 million – Disney will see its subscriber decline as a major setback in its bid to become the world's best streaming service.

You can get any Disney movie from Netflix on a disc. But given the rate at which they are screwing up every franchise they have bought in recent years (Marvel, Star Wars, Toy Story and more) with rampant wokeness, they will probably produce no content worth doing so.
As for hard core believers who seek it out, that is another story. I imagine a lot of harried parents just get in order to keep the rug rats busy, without giving it much thought.

I had a Tommy Gun with a red cylinder in the barrel that simulated firing

My brother and I took the cap gun we bought at Shiloh, put a charge of black powder in it with a period-correct lead bullet.
It was our Davey Crockett set-up.
Then I made a trail of powder on the sidewalk to the gun, lit a match and Boom!
It’s amazing the sheet metal barrel didn’t disintegrate. The gun went sailing off into the bushes.
There was a lead skid mark on the side of the garage.
Current Disney wouldn’t approve of boys being boys.
Boys being girls though is okay.
Verizon offers a package with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ if you subscribe with them. Could be some of those 200,000 were from that.
Older shows on DVDs can usually be had at thrift shops for a buck or if someone really wants them.
Hopefully this will affect their ability to donate to Trump going forward...they were Top 5 in both 2016 and 2020 according to Open Secrets.
