An Arizona rancher has been charged with first-degree murder and had his bail set at a whopping $1million for fatally shooting a Mexican citizen on his property.
George Alan Kelly, 73, was arrested following the January 30 fatal shooting of Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, 48, on his ranch in Kino Springs, just a mile and a half north of the US-Mexico border.
Authorities are still investigating the fatal shooting, with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's chief deputy saying it does not appear that Kelly knew Cuen-Butimea ahead of the shooting.

The lives of Mexican illegals are far more important and valuable than those of American citizens.
That about covers it.
Arrest??? The rancher should be given a medal!!!!
I rather wondered about that myself. Not well written, is it?
A 73 year old man alone with his wife on an isolated ranch at night next to a neighboring country run by violent cartels. I would shoot and take my chances with the legal system. I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. If it had been my wife she would have been providing covering fire.
He was probably a communist before attending college.
Two can play.
Dox the judge.
Maybe he should say the illegal alien claimed to be a white Christian. They might give him a medal. S/
What the hell was “a Messican migrant” doing with a Messican voter card? Doesn’t sound like the boy was a migrant to me.
Santa Cruz County.
I suspect George Alan Kelly is, to quote Kenny Price, “in a heap of trouble”.
Illegal aliens are higher regarded in Santa Cruz County than Americans. Especially Anglo Americans.
From article:
“But under Arizona law, deadly force is allowed on one’s own property if the homeowner believes it ‘immediately necessary’ to prevent trespassing.”
I remember that as well……
…..thus began my realization that GW Bush was/is an imposter.
That….and ‘see you at the signing’ was the beginning of my red pill awakening
…..
Illegal aliens crossing ranches in that area shoot at ranch people routinely.
Fifty years ago I was routinely in small firefights with them on a ranch East of theirs. They would shoot at ranchers because they thought it was a way to scare us off.
It will come out likely that Kelly was under threat.
It’s way worse now then half a century ago. Now the heavyweight smuggling operations have way more firepower and wear tactical gear. A routine crosser like the guy who got shot may have just been a pathfinder clearing the route for a larger group and have been armed.
I dunno. They are committing a federal felony are they not?
How does the Rancher know what this “FEDERAL” felon was going to do?
an old retired police officer once told me he always kept a “throw away gun’ handy in case something like this happened.
Agenda, anyone?

Age 73 versus age 48.
How about self defense claim?
Should have taken the migrant to the train station. (Yellowstone reference)
This is correct... Get you a back hoe, do it quick, at night... and don’t tell.
