If congress passes an annual budget, there is no debt ceiling to raise because the spending for the entire year is already approved in the passing of the budget. That’s the job of the Republican controlled House according to the Constitution.
Watch them NOT pass a budget. (They haven’t since during the Bush 43 administration.)
Which will tell you everything you need to know about Republicans and spending. Stop blaming Democrats, this year is the Republicans job (again) to pass a budget and put pressure on the Democrats in the Senate to approve it.

I was not questioning that... that is what they do every time. Unfortunately, the Republican leadership has the tool that they need to get some of the crap reversed. BUt they do not have the courage that they need to use it. I blame doomsayers such as yourself for weakening their resolve.
Quit borrowing money and giving it to other countries. Quit giving money to illegal aliens. Quit using money for benevolence.

Nope. The worst thing that could happen is we get to a point where democrats can borrow and spend without any limits.

Remember, this only happens when the House doesn’t pass a budget, which the Constitution says is the job of the House. Republicans have followed the Constitution less than Democrats.
When it comes to money it’s all one party behind the scenes.
And conversely it is completely unacceptable for a normal person to be from Jersey.
Real people would just reduce or stop spending ... governments aren’t that smart.
You are wrong about that... Democrats don't care about public opinion anymore because they know that they can just cheat. Republicans however are still hypersensitive to public opinion. They read comments on forums and gauge public opinion from that
