I understand the payload may have been an issue to take down over land, but if it had been on a nefarious mission why give it time to carry through?
Did the aircraft have a transponder on board?
Did the airbases in Alaska pickup the flight as an intrusion of US airspace?
Why was it not shot down as it was entering US airspace rather than after it flew across the US above at least 10 states?

It appears that the Democrats that pull Biden’s strings hourly purposefully did not shoot the balloon down when it first appeared near the Aleutian Islands. Instead, they let it wander around over the U.S. for days.
There absolutely could have been a nuke or EMP aboard. The balloon should have been shot down before it ever got to the North American Mainland.

Are these balloons single-use only? Could China have gotten it back and used it again? If so, this may be Biden signalling to Xi to up his payments to the Biden family.
Another thought that occurs to me is maybe the reason the military didn’t want to shoot it down over land is because they didn’t know what payload it was carrying, and were maybe even concerned that it could be biological or chemical. Even if it was nothing, they couldn’t have the “little people” seeing military personnel walking around in NBC protective suits, and thereby being alerted to the fact that our government had credible concern about China trying to surreptitiously attack us. Why, that could even lead to questions about the origin and purpose of the Wuhan virus, and they can’t have that.
What if these balloons have biologicals or radioactive materials in them? Can we assume the government is doing air tests for those possibilities?
