Can you give us a little backstory on this?

Basically, since around 2000, especially after the animalistic Ramallah lynch, Haaretz became a hate site. It was always left leaning but since then it became extremist Destructive, with its racist Arab writers and a few confused liberal anti religion secularists non-Arab "writers."

Gadi Taub was the only conservative columnist over there, he says he was always nauseous about reading that paper but wrote there in order to try to influence the few non fanatics.

Last week Haaretz fired him...

I’m not sure there is a backstory.

But the paper is indeed, an antisemitic, Deep State, anti Israel tabloid. It’s target audience are self loathing Jews, neo-Nazis, and various Iranian satellite groups. ANTIFA types. Sponsored by soros, probably.

Hates religion, in general.

And, indeed, it’s published in Israel.
