"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg wondered on Monday if "we need to see White people get beat up" to see meaningful police reform before clarifying that she was "not suggesting that" following the death of Tyre Nichols. "Do we need to see White people also get beat before anybody will do anything? I’m not suggesting that. So don’t write us and tell me what a racist I am. I’m just asking is that what people have to see in order to wake up and realize this affects us all?" Goldberg asked.

I remember seeing a white man who was shot dead by the cops. We passed the scene just a few minutes later and the dead man was covered with a tarp.
He was not even the man they were looking for but a mentally man who wondered away from his home. They caught that perp in another town not long after.
The cop, who thought he was a “hot shot” and quick on the trigger ended up going to prison.
