Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed an unprecedented school choice bill called the Students First Act on Tuesday, allowing any Iowa student to use public money to pay for private school tuition or other expenses. "For the first time, we will fund students not systems!" Reynolds said on Twitter. "Parents, not the government, can now choose the education setting best suited to their child regardless of their income or zip code. Iowa has affirmed that educational freedom belongs to all!"

Awesome.
The Merrick Garland family enterprises in the public schools education materials is not going to be pleased. Expect consequences.
May this approach be multiplied throughout the kand! Down with “progressive” indoctrination!
This is wonderful. The way it should be. Of course it’s probably racist and transphobic to some woketard, so expect the court to get involved.
Wow! I just congratulated my Iowa lady friend!!!
Awesome. The girls leading the way!
If Merrick Garlands family profits off hecurriculum business for public schools, what is he doing issuing federal guidelines on school cirriculum activities?
An absolute conflict of interest.
ABOUT TIME! America was warned decades ago that the socialists were coming for the children. Who knew then that they would be hiding in our own school system to do it. IF the American people want their children to be truly educated, the system of indoctrinations must be broken once and for all. This is more than just a step, it’s a leap towards freeing our kid’s minds to THINK again instead of regurgitating socialist talking points. Just sayin’.
Thanks Kim, another promise kept.

“Awesome.”
Now every Republican governor should do this immediately.
Arizona’s Ducey was no prize, but we have this here in Arizona, and it is working great. Very simple application. Teachers’ Unions are livid.
My words on this subject that I have been preaching on in the WSJ subscriber comments section, over and over and over again for twenty years, have finally percolated up into some government officials - public money for K-12 education HAS TO BE about, and for EDUCATION and the CHILDREN, and not to protect any education institution.
NEA is going to sh*t their collective pants
Three year phase in.
My kids go to an excellent private school, and we had a parents forum about this last week. Principle has been working on this for a long time.
This will help.
Of course, a lot of Public Schools are mad, but then many of those teachers send their kids to private schools.
“Ice Queen Kim” is what my kids call her (as in Elsa from Frozen).
She works slow, but fine. When she makes a move, it is typically locked down tight.
