Denial just ain't a river in Egypt. Unless you put the 2nd Russian invasion in context, you ignore how the war could have been prevented. It is a failure of diplomacy. It should be noted that the same Obama/Biden team that engineered the 2014 coup is in charge now, especially Victoria Nuland.

While the Russian troops were massing on the Ukrainian border for almost a year, Blinken was actually trying to provoke a war. On November 10, 2021 the US signed the U.S.-Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership.

In that Charter, we stated, among other things, "The United States remains committed to assisting Ukraine with ongoing defense and security reforms and to continuing its robust training and exercises. The United States supports Ukraine’s efforts to maximize its status as a NATO Enhanced Opportunities Partner to promote interoperability."

In June 2020 NATO recognized Ukraine as Enhanced Opportunities Partner . "As a NATO partner, Ukraine has provided troops to Allied operations, including in Afghanistan and Kosovo, as well as to the NATO Response Force and NATO exercises. Allies highly value these significant contributions, which demonstrate Ukraine’s commitment to Euro-Atlantic security."

You may have confidence in Biden, Blinken, Sullivan, Nuland, Austin, and Milley to manage this proxy war, but I don't. They are leading us over a cliff with this gradual escalation. We are weakening our military posture and borrowing billions to fund another endless war. Ukraine estimates it will take a trillion dollars to rebuild this country, which was poor (and very corrupt) before the war.

Rebuilding munitions wake up call! CSIS did a timely report on the fact it’ll take 6 years to recover from munitions transferred/expended by Ukraine.

You’re making some really big assumptions.

Biden ignoring Ukraine while partnering with Russia on Iran is what “provoked” Putin. He thought a free pass to extend the Russian empire and took it.

Putin and his ilk think Ukraine is part of Russia. Maybe you agree? Putinists want empire. Maybe you prefer Russia’s neighbors living in the misery and hell of the Russia World? Unsurprisingly, Ukrainians don’t want KGB torture chambers in their communities.

Putin choose this war and invasion. Nobody else. It’s so typical of Bolsheviks to put responsibility for their murderous spree on their victims. We must reject such self serving strawmen arguments for what they are and stick to our conservative core values of liberty and justice for all. No peoples should be forced to live in the filth and scum of the Russian World.

Did the Kremlin lie about Katyn for 50 years? Yes. Is there a chance they’re not doing the same now? Nope. Potemkin Russia is nation built on lies. Don’t be duped.
