Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Friday morning that the United States will support Ukraine “for as long as it takes” a day after the U.S. announced another multibillion-dollar assistance package for the country.

The U.S. announced late Thursday evening that it has approved another military aid package to Ukraine for $2.5 billion dollars, bringing up total U.S. military assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of 2021 to $27.5 billion.

The U.S. announcement called it “significant” and “unprecedented.”

So far, the U.S. has allocated more than $100 billion in aid since the conflict began in February 2022.

This is “last days of the Empire” death march stuff going on...

The kickbacks from the military industrial complex are just too big for the kleptocrats to resist.

A more complete quote:
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin committed America’s support for Ukraine for “as long as it takes” during a speech at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on Friday. “This is not a moment to slow down,” Austin said. “It’s a time to dig deeper.”

Kind of makes you think we should find out if our elected officials have some sort of financial stake in keeping this war going . . .

That’s what a person in his position would say right up until they pull the plug.

As the US southern border collapses the Sec Def pledges to defend the eastern border of a country that means nothing to real Americans for ‘as long as it takes’. This is a perfect depiction of what the US government now is. The enemy of real Americans and the ally of the globo-homo universal empire

Board appointments to defense companies is commonplace for extra retirement cash for these folks.

Wars help militaries train in real life situations and they can test weaponry on the battlefield as well as finance new modern equipment

Austin is famously stupid but he is no idiot, He knows who will make him rich beyond his dreams once he leaves the Pentagon. After a few years he can own his own island in the Grenadines and watch the US turn into a third world hell hole from the luxury of his heavily guarded palace. Austin hates whitey. He is a product of Brooks County Georgia where race relations have been, well tense for many decades. He was recruited to West Point because of his prowess throwing a football as his brother was to U of Georgia. Lloyd was one of the ‘minority’ students who was on the ‘must and will graduate’ list at USMA and he was carried over the finish line just as Barack Obama saw to it he would become much more than just another Major General. Austin is a well trained seal and if Biden and Co told him to order an invasion of Texas to link up with the illegal horde he would do so with dispatch and he would enjoy seeing a lot of white straight Christian non woke Texas men killed. The women can be handed out to the invaders of both armies.

<>“for as long as it takes”

Kirby was just asked what these words mean. It had no answer, I think they said they'd be in Afghanistan as long as it takes as well. https://www.whitehouse.gov/live/
