I am not a Harley rider. But it looks like the company is going woke! Unbelievable!!!!
So many major companies commiting suicide. It is unbelievable.
Perhaps they are just planning for the future, when internal combustion is supposedly to be banned.
Well given they are talking 2 - 3 decades in the future, I wouldn’t worry about it. By then, the recharging and range issues will be dealt with or the entire concept will be dead.
I’d say, honestly, electric motorcycles have more realistic shot at the marketplace than cars.
Most motorcycle riders do not use their bikes as full time vehicles. Majority are commuter vehicles on days when the the weather is nice, or to putter around on a weekend close to home, rarely ever putting more than 100 miles in a single usage if that.
A good majority of motorcycles sold, I’d bet have never been driven more than 100 miles in 1 sitting.
Go look at used bike listings right now, and you will find no shortage of low mileage late model vehicles for sale, and other than some particular brands, for sale cheap.
That’s a huge part of the market.
Then there are the folks who are more dedicated, and ride cross country on their bikes in all sorts of weather.. but they are the overwhelming minority of folks who own a motorcycle.
