Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Friday expressed his support of Attorney General Merrick Garland’s appointment of a special counsel to investigate President Biden’s potential mishandling of classified documents from his time as vice president.
“We now have special prosecutors on for both of these situations, very serious people,” Schumer said in an appearance on CNN, discussing both the Biden documents case and that of former President Trump.
“We should let it play out,” he added. “We don’t have to push them in any direction or try to influence them. That’s all I’m going to say. Let the special prosecutors do their job.”
Garland appointed Robert Hur as special counsel on Thursday after a second batch of classified documents from the Obama administration was discovered at Biden’s Wilmington, Del., residence.

I'm sure you are right. But I don't think they want Kamala. Pedo Joe will serve out his term as a place holder. The Democrats want Nancy Pelosi's nephew, and California Governor Newsom to run in 2024. They don't want Biden ousted right yet, because a President Kamala would make things thorny for the Dems in 2024.

I thought this was a likely possibility. Get a special counsel who will inevitably say its nothing that way they can say they have one standard so when they go after Trump they have cover. Of course it’s B.s because they’re not going to appoint Rudy as the special counsel. They’re going to appoint a hard-core Biden guy to say that there’s no there, there.
The fix is in. The Special Counsel was an assistant to Rosenstein and part of the attempted coup via the Russia hoax. Kash Patel calls him dirty.

PERFECT way for Democrats to get rid of Biden (for 2024) without the fallout (for THEM) from discovery of just how deep, the Chinese ownership of politicians’, rabbit hole goes.
Don’t buy the theory this is being done to remove Biden. IMO it is intended to indict Trump using moral equivalency. Both Trump and Biden are now under investigation by a Special Counsel. The story will be that Trump obstructed the process, but Biden cooperated fully with the FBI and the National Archives.
The elephant in the room is what prompted Team Biden’s review of Biden’s files that discovered the classified documents? Why do we trust Biden’s lawyers to disclose all the material that was found? It is similar to Hillary’s lawyers going through her 70k emails and erasing half of them before turning the remaking emails to DOJ.
Biden is sanitizing his files prior to the House investigation and possible investigation of the entire Biden Crime Family by the attorney investigating Hunter. The classified material could be a distraction.
