[rapster thugs making noise and being rude]

I always enjoy BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! coming out of broken speakers as I pump my gas. It provides such a wonderful low-life ambience to an otherwise pleasant evening.

Agree 100% with the above analysis. As far as DC goes, the new Federal worker entitlement is to work from home. From a Virginia or Maryland suburb. IOW do nothing useful. At least they were useful sometimes when these bums had to report to a physical office.

In contrast, the private sector does monitor the output of those who work from home. And some jobs like coding, can be done from home and with fewer distractions.

In Portland, Oregon, you can get your face chewed off by riding mass transit. Think of it as a perk.

As long as transit authorities exist, mass transit will never die.

The Metro in Washington used to be packed shoulder to shoulder. It was a risky ride, too.

It’s like being fed to the lions.

Or who wants to go into a cage filled with New York City spear-toting cannibals? What parent would risk taking their children into that environment?

NYC has long become the nightmarish world of Clockwork Orange, where the criminal gangs rule supreme. Yes, the criminals pretend to be city officials and the public suckers keep voting them in, over and over again. /spit

On my recent trips on Boston's...and New York's...transit systems I've seen far fewer passengers than a few years ago. In fact,I live within a hundred yards of a suburban commuter rail station that has a large, open and plainly visible parking lot. A couple of years ago that lot was always chock full during “business hours”. These days it's no more than half full.

That's right...and to give Doomberg appropriate credit it must be noted that he continued Rudy's policing policies.

Re: The ridership drop also has fueled an increase in transit crime...

Huh? Why would a decrease in passengers **cause** increase crime?

Seems less of a mass transit problem and more of an enforcing crime problem. Hire police on the trains with the balls to enforce the law and then raise prices. I would b-line to the cars that have cops on them.

Fidelity’s corporate offices in Westlake, Texas are being redesigned and they have removed hundreds of individual cubicles and turned entire wings and floors into cohabitating, group-work “lounges” with coffee and fruit smoothie bars!

Most of their workers work from home now, and only come in for training sessions and “team building” work in these loungey areas.

They had planned to build two additional buildings on their huge campus...now they are leaving the space for nature.

Always has been a subsidized money waste to help get Afros to their jobs.

And I’m sure a lot of the drop in numbers is the feds fault for hyping social distancing in the covid scam...

Safe, clean and on time. Very simple concepts but it means riders will use mass transit if those three goals are achieved.

KISS.... keep it simple....

when my attendance

At class lectures was declining quite a lot

It was announced that a re - visiting promoted social study professor

Would be doing a lecture

I decided out of curiosity only

I would attend to see what all the excitement was about

The only thing I noticed was all the happiness - excitement - applause was about

Was how when it was announced

How it was foot noted as a sign of progress

integration was successful at the bus station level in wash dc

Like that was the whole purpose - such a great thing

This was the mid sixties
