If the dems remain in power there won’t be a choice. At age 75, except for the ruling elite, the national health care system will offer euthanasia instead of surgery or medication.

It is here, and has been for years for those, who have the good DNA and good health care. Our Mothers and their mothers lived past 80 or close to it.
My wife is close to 82, and I’m 84. Thanks to good inherited habits/DNA and good health care, we, our siblings and most of our peers are in this 80+ age group.
We take care of ourselves and each other. No alcoholics, smokers nor druggies in our group.
We are basically conservatives and attend church on a regular basis. We still volunteer at our churches and local non profits.
Most of us wear the same size in clothing as we did a decade+ or so, ago. My wife weighs the same as she did 62 years ago.
Good riddance. One less socialist mouth for social security and medicare to feed.

Sounds like my wife’s and POA in our early 80’s!
I myself want to “hang around” so long as I am sound of mind, not in excess pain that cannot be alleviated and still enjoy the company of my children and grandchildren and wife hopefully still alive at this late stage in life.
If I do not have the above three, just let me go in a manner of my own choosing.

He uses a valid fact in that half of the cost of medical care a person receives in his entire life is spent in the last 6 months of his life. That is something that can be discussed but it's not for him to make that decision. Democrat doofus.
