MAKE SOME NOISE PEOPLE!
.... and as the committee forwards criminal referrals to the (democrat/commie/Garland) AG .... we never hear of the crimes again.
Let’s expose the corruption first. Nobody can tell the future.
We haven’t had a functioning DOJ in 14+ years!
That includes the time Sessions’ butt occupied the AG chair!
Trust Session! the plan and all that!
Well...at least it is not Durham. But $ 10 says outcome the same.
Let’s see if the fake news covers this SELECT committee like they did the J6 fedsurrection committee. And the GOP better kick off any Democrats that don’t think the gov’t was weaponized...just like the dems did to the GOP on the J6 committee.
I would rather see Massie as the chair.
Jordan’s allegiances are suspect. He is owned by Google.
Agree, he’s not the best speaker or really inspiring but he does follow the constitution and is quite rigid in his principles
Here’s one thing I remember from my Army days: the entire chain of command attended the out briefing of Nuclear Surety Inspections at Nike Hercules batteries: Battery, Battalion, Group (Brigade), and the Deputy Commanding General of 32nd AADCOM.
The DCG’s main function was to relieve those officers should the battery fail. I’ve never seen a stronger instance of pucker factor in my life.
…and permanently ground Chris Wray’s personal jet.
And the leftists will deny it. And the weaponized doj will go after Jordan for trying to overturn the election.
that's ALL OF THEM!.................
It was his job to bring the thunder. It’s a prosecutor’s job to seal the deal and an awake public to bring the pressure to bear and demand accountability
Everybody’s celebrating this appointment, but to be honest with you, I’m not. The swamp is too deep and evil, and as much as Jordan has good intentions, the evil swamp creatures will sidelined him from every which way. We might as well just resigned ourselves to the fact that America is cooked. Call me whatever name you want to call me, flame me, call me a Debbie downer, etc but deep down in your hearts you know I am right.
The vegetable in chief came to my city yesterday and guess what the city representatives and the head honcho of the city did? They cleaned up the city streets where the thousands of invaders have trashed those neighborhoods and carried them off to an undisclosed area away from the reporters and made it look like LGB had everything under control. Even the Mexican cartel government for a photo up had their national guard guarding their side of the border deceiving our damn corrupt government that the Mexican National Guard has been there all along. BS! On the contrary, they’ve been pushing the invaders out of Juarez as quickly as they can to our soil. But overall the saddest part of all of this chaotic invasion fiasco is that those people affected by the illegals in their neighborhoods didn’t say a peep. You would think they would’ve been out there angrily protesting mr 🥔 but sadly they were no where to be found … folk just doesn’t give a CHIT anymore.
So... Has anything changed since then?
No?
I approve of Jim’s giving it a shot... I’m just not deluded enough to think it’ll do any more good than Gowdy’s efforts.
I hope I’m wrong.
Ms. Rose,
I for one, greatly appreciate, and enjoy your posts. Your warnings of how horrible things are for our country right now can’t be said enough. So please know, you are not alone in your feelings. Many if not most of us here feel that way.
And, I believe, a lot of people across the country are starting to feel that way too. Most don’t want to have to worry about politics, or distrust their government, but it can start reaching a point, which it will, if it hasn’t already, when the dam of denial just finally breaks.
So we have to keep warning people how bad things have gotten. That’s the goal of Jordan and this committee, I believe. To increase the outrage, that you are already demonstrating. To get more people on board with how you feel. So that there is at least a chance of something changing, which I believe there is.
Highest Regards.
Exactly. Well they need one or two to make it bi-partisan. Good luck finding one. Maybe a GOP member can switch his party to Rat just so they can say they had rat on the committee.
I have not read the rest of the replies, but you need to adjust your expectations. I am not being snarky towards you or anyone else who expressed your frustration (which I share).
Contrary to recent behavior from the democrats, the “congress” does not have the ability to charge people with a crime, arrest them, adjudicate them, and incarcerate them.
All they can do is investigate and make referrals to DOJ. DOJ only prosecutes one party so the odds are far more likely they will prosecute Jordan for something than anyone for whom they make a referral.
The DOJ will “open” investigations into some of the targets for Jordan to allow their comrades to plead the 5th or hide behind the “ongoing investigations”.
The media will run cover for them like they always do.
I think Jordan has been pretty realistic about what he can and cannot do.
What congress can do that would curtail some of this partisan (and illegal) behavior is to use the power of the budget. Congressional subpoenas and hearings don’t really get their attention. Using the appropriations to punish with budget does.
It will take balls because they will scream about how every bad thing would not have happened if the GOP house had not stripped money from *insert their favorite agency here*. We will see. There are some pretty vocal folks in congress now that are talking about this and some of them do have intestinal fortitude but the majority are still milquetoast.
This was the job that Jordan wanted (more than speaker) so I do believe he is committed to it. He also has more political power than McCarthy because he could have taken the gavel from him, but he didn’t. I don’t think McCarthy will be able to throttle “investigations” and refuse subpoenas like Paul Ryan did to Nunes.
you go jim, don’t let them stop you!
I have no doubt that Jim will do a most excellent job.
I’m equally certain... nothing will come of it. If we had some historical precedent showing that OUR side was capable of seeing something like this all the way through... I’d hold out more hope.
As it is... It’s all kabuki from here until the shooting starts.
