I’m not a fan of McCarthy but he has made the necessary concessions in writing and the Freedom Caucus group has offered no real alternative candidate. We have to get the Speakership in place or there will be growing pressure for the moderates to do what they did in PA and Ohio - team up with the Dems for a “unity” candidate and instead of a half a loaf, we will have nothing. And if that happens, there won’t be a single serious investigation into the bribery payments made to Hunter Biden, the incompetence of Mayorkas or any other conservative topic, period.

"team up with the Dems for a “unity” candidate and instead of a half a loaf, we will have nothing."

The Dem's already have that, and it's McCarthy......he's a simple Deep State Tool, as are all the lock-step Dems. Hakeem is their token lawn jockey prototype, who'll do the bidding of the Deep State and rake in millions from Taxpayers and the Global Elite who fund/control/and cash in on the Government handouts they get from controlling it.

Do you seriously believe McCarthy will do anything serious about these things? Oh there will be investigations but they won't be serious in any way, shape, or form. They will be clown acts and in the end, amount to precisely nothing.

These speaker votes are utterly meaningless outside of McCarthy's ego. Peewee Herman or Goofy the animated dog might as well be speaker.

If “moderates” would do what you say, there is no Republican Party.

They need to chuse a different speaker with the same agreements you cite.

Funny how after all the bread and circuses we still have to settle for “a half a loaf” (in reality he will be a backstabber, so we will likely get a shit sandwich crammed down our throats regardless).

In writing is meaningless. What teeth does such an agreement have?

Does anyone really believe that there will be any investigations with a RINO like McCarthy as speaker?

And you believe that if he wins this evening, then we will have "serious investigation into the bribery payments made to Hunter Biden, the incompetence of Mayorkas or any other conservative topic"?

Really????????
From the Republican Party??????

Skip all that crap. Fire McCarthy and hire a guy like Jim Jordan. Government should be run like a business. Replace poor performers.

“We have to get the Speakership in place or there will be growing pressure for the moderates to do what they did in PA and Ohio - team up with the Dems for a “unity” candidate and instead of a half a loaf, we will have nothing.”

If they would rather negotiate with the Dems to get a “unity” candidate rather than with the hold outs in their own party for a unity candidate, (e.g. Jim Jordan or someone like him), it just shows all the more why playing ball with the RINO’s is a rigged game and any deal the hold outs have made with McCarthy isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
