Turns out to be 6. Now the question is how many Dems snuck out the back doors without voting. There’s a potential of only 218 non-McCarthy votes now.

Dan Bongino has been cheerleading the holdouts on his radio program constantly.
Much to my surprise, I must say. I generally agree with his take.

That’s good cuz it is the usual GOP, Inc. putting on a show.

That might depend on how many are attending Biden's Insurrection Party at the White House.

The lone democrat that didn’t vote this morning just showed up and voted. Unless there is a switch or non-vote, there will be 218 against McCarthy.

100% On a good note, if it weren't for the 19, there would be *no* concessions and We the People would remain proper-screwed by our "representatives" again. I too hope this exercise *significantly* weakened McCarthy.

THe problem is that the rules package will require a simple majority vote nd it will only take a handful of moderates to join the Dems to override some of the concessions.

There is the Selection Committee as a first hurdle for the rebel patriots to get over, as that committee’s leadership will assign individual members of the GOP caucus... to their particular desired assignments.
Much of the pressure currently targeting the rebels and that is being held over their heads, is coming directly from this pending process.

Gaetz and Boebert are now isolated. I’m hoping McCarthy extends them an olive branch.Hopefully.

Chatter is a deal has been made and he should get the votes to tonight
I won’t post the rumors because not confirmed but if true good news

Saw Boebert and Gaetz a few minutes ago on Hannity. It certainly sounded like they were relenting, in some way, to allow McCarthy to obtain the number of votes needed to elect him Speaker.
