Trump is revealed as wrong and weak. Again. All caps is symptom of kryptonite stress, he's leaning on the keyboard.
Few are the opportunities for the Right to flex. This is one. It is not impossible that Kev starts leaking votes and the dam breaks.
Regardless, you gotta leverage every chance to drive the ship Right. Even if it is just some rounds of stubborn votes and then some additional concessions by Trump's boy Kev.
It's politics. The speaker wields power all the time. We Freedom lovers are a minority on the hill. These are the times we can flex for position. It's not selfish. It's politics, they're politicians.
Trump is saying don't flex, just continue to bend.

Any person you select for the position will be deemed a swamp person. It’s why Jordan doesn’t want it. He sees how it ends. You folks and folks like Dobbs will turn on him quickly.

I no longer follow Trump’s endorsements on people. My opinion on McCarthy goes way back, and the have always been negative. McCarthy is a RINO and has no idea what the MAGA base needs and wants. Trump’s endorsements do not change my mind. Take that for what it is. He would be better off keeping his fingers off the keyboard on this one. I seriously think Trump has lost touch with his base.
If he hasn’t won the vote after 4 times...remove him from the running. Same old shit in Washington...keep voting until you get the result you want. A vote of “no” 28 times keep voting until you get a “yes” and then you are done...don’t quit until you get the yes you are after. INSANITY!!!
I think Lou Dobbs is great and should have a show on Real America’s Voice. Other than Bannon, their bench is really lame. Dobbs would be a great addition.
Sweeping pronouncements? While I don’t know you individually, I’ve seen this happen time and time again. First Jordan has said this in private conversation. He knows that being speaker requires building coalitions which means sometimes giving things he wouldn’t normally give. At that moment, he knows he’s toast. Any speaker will face this. Hard conservatives are an unyielding and unforgiving bunch.
