I’m glad to see you’re a historian. Since you’re on the topic of WW2 do you have pics handy of the 20,000 people shot in the head for political gain by the Kremlin at Katyn? I’m sure there is a parallel in American history you can draw to that bit industrial scale mass murder? The fact is Russia displayed Nazi traits in WW2 just as they do now in their genocidal mania in Ukraine. We’ve seen this movie before from Russia. The Kremin’s fellow travelers in the west enjoyed Russia’s sprees as much then as they do now.

Bombing everything was the way wars were fought then. Everyone bombed everything and everyone. There were no “precision” weapons in 1943. Germany’s airforce destroyed 80% of Poland’s cities also. Japan bombed China’s cities in 1937. Etc. Etc.

Here is the difference: Hitler was planning to exterminate those places anyway, which he intended to replace with “Aryans.”

We didn’t exterminate Germany, Italy, or Japan and fill them with Americans nor did we plan to do so.
