Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a Christmas message said Ukrainians will celebrate the holidays with one difference this year, as the country observes its first Christmas since its conflict with Russia began.
“We will celebrate our holidays! As always. We will smile and be happy. As always. The difference is one. We will not wait for a miracle. After all, we create it ourselves,” Zelensky said on Saturday.
Christmas Eve marked 10 months since Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24.
Much of the world initially expected Ukraine to only hold out for weeks, but instead it has gained much of the territory Russia won in the early stages of the war.

And it is a really Merry Christmas with the $$$Billions you stole from US Taxpayers
Zelensky doesn’t celebrate Christmas.
They’re also “celebrating” on Dec. 25, which has been a big conflict in the Orthodox Church. But since Zelensky has decided that he - a non-believer - is the head of the Orthodox Church in the Ukraine and can shut down or dispose at will, I guess it’s all okay. It goes along with the global agenda.
Amazing, Putin’s second western front is managed to infiltrate even FR. KGB propagandists are everywhere.
And you thought Biden was out of touch with reality.
You probably know absolutely nothing about the Orthodox Church, so it’s probably not even worth answering.
That said, my feeling is that it’s amazing the Biden’s Zelensky-bots have managed not only to infiltrate but to overwhelm FR.
Zelensky did not ban churches in Ukraine. Ukrainian Orthodox (Kyiv Patriarchat) Church is alive. RUSSIAN Orthodox (Moscow Patriarchat) run by Putin’s KGB was banned for subversive activity during the war.
All other churches, Greco-Catholic, Protestant, Jewish etc. are alive and helping fight Russian savages.
