Robbins, an Academy Award-winning actor, explained his journey from strict compliance with government edicts early in the pandemic to one of doubt about the inerrancy of so-called health experts and the official narrative constructed around COVID-19, vaccination, lockdowns, and masking.
Despite having initially "bought into it" and "adhering to the requests" made of him, Robbins explained that his real-life encounters were ultimately at odds with what he had otherwise been told about the pandemic, anti-lockdown protesters, and the unvaccinated. This generated a sense of cognitive dissonance, prompting him to doubt the official narrative.

Robbins admitted, "At first, if you were a Democrat, when Trump was president, well, you weren't going to take that vaccine because it was Trump's vaccine, and then that seemed to somehow change. It was kind of Orwellian. It was like we are no longer at war with East Asia."
However, after the political winds shifted and Democrats assumed power during the pandemic, Robbins noted, "If you didn't take the vaccine, you were a Republican."
The end result, according to Robbins: "We turned into tribal, angry, vengeful people."

I do too. At least he changed his thinking when I saw that the people protesting lockdowns were not as the MSM depicted them. Many other Leftist and elites had that same chance to see if what they were being told was true. Either they did not take it or they still clung to the lies even after seeing the truth. Mostly because one question can start an avalanche so better just to keep to what you are told.
Last Christmas, big controversy over my wife and I going to our children's home being unvaccinated and all. So my daughter-in-law's family decided they were going to ask everybody to get a COVID test, but they were really just singling my wife and I out as we were the only ones not vaxxed.
We went ahead and jumped through that hoop for them. When we arrived, we were the only ones asked to show our COVID results. Now I have no proof of that but never saw anybody else being asked for theirs.
Within a couple of days, the group texts start going out. People in my DIL's family were coming down with COVID. Every single one of them vaxxed and boosted, and wearing face masks as well. They couldn't blame us though. We showed them negative test results - for whatever that was worth.
The extent of Robbins’ wokeness is that he cast off Leftist nutroot Susan Sarandon. Coster and Sinise only made it so far inside that nimrod’s skull.
At least he realizes he was duped by the MSM.
I don't know where the second part came from. I sure as hell never criticized anyone for taking a COVID-19 vaccine, and I would have called out anyone here on FR who did such a thing.
We have no idea what someone's medical situation is, and what kind of medical treatments are being recommended by a doctor. As a result, I never criticize anyone for a medical decision that he or she makes.
I told people back then that I'd never take COVID-19 seriously as a lethal threat as long as they New York City subway system was still running. There probably isn't any place on the planet other than a bioweapon lab where an airborne pathogen will spread more quickly than the NYC subway system. Locking down people in their homes while keeping that mobile toilet open should have been a giant red flag to all of us.
Do the research. I read it as did other freepers.
