His Fauci book was extremely well researched and very eye opening. And he’s not, by any stretch, a conservative.

Kennedy was a liberal, and was despised by the conservatives of that era as much, if not more, than Clinton, Obama, and Biden. Kennedy's positions were not as radical as the modern Democratic Party, but the Democrats have moved leftward over the years. Teddy Kennedy and Jesse Jackson were anti-abortion earlier in their careers. Joe Biden was a "Law and order" Democrat whose language was rather close to that of George Wallace on racial matters. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were opposed to homosexual "marriage" a dozen years ago. There is no assurance that had Kennedy survived an attempted assassination, was reelected in 1964, and lived for another 30-40 years after his Presidency, he would have not followed his party's leftward drift, as his brother did. Ditto for Robert Kennedy, Sr., or Martin Luther King.

The removal of prayer in schools occurred under the Warren Court, with two Eisenhower appointees, Warren and Brennan, voting for its removal. Abortion on demand happened under the Burger Court, led by Warren Burger, a Nixon appointee. On the Obergefell ruling legalizing homosexual "marriages", one Republican appointee, Anthony Kennedy, voted for the overturn.

Lee Oswald murdered JFK. Earl Warren was a friend of JFK, and Warren didn’t do coverups, ever. That’s why LBJ, who had a strong motive for murder but knew he was innocent, insisted that Warren lead the investigation.

I used to think that Tucker Carlson was OK, but now I see that he is just another fruitcake celebrity newscaster, auditioning for the part of Howard Beale in “Network”.

And it seems to me that the world in general is addicted to delusional manias. As the late Dr Michael Crichton wisely observed, the greatest challenge facing mankind is the challenge of distinguishing reality from fantasy, truth from propaganda. And most people can’t quite do it.

Hard to argue with him. The CIA overthrew foreign leaders and was greatly disappointed with JFK for not backing them up at the Bay of Pigs in their quest to oust Castro.

I personally agree with the CIA on that one but did they think it was necessary to kill JFK over it or other matters?

I can see in the Bay of Pigs failure at least one motive to take out JFK.

So who is the final arbiter of whether or not we get it 'right'?

The Diem coup in Vietnam just weeks before the JFK assassination a CIA op from start to finish.

some say JFK was not inclined to the military buildup that LBJ eventually went for in Vietnam.

Sometimes reality is the final arbiter, as will hopefully be the case with the climate change fraud and the deadly covid vaccines. And other times the final arbiter is “the verdict of history”, which might still be mistaken.

Our government is totally corrupt. Anyone that cannot see that is blind or willfully complicit.

All you need to know Biden was trying to stop it from being released so you know there’s something dirty in there about the government

BTW “conspiracy theory” is a phrase COINED by the CIA to discredit anyone who doubted the sterling purity of truthfulness and integrity of the Warren Commission.

You need to re-evaluate your understanding before speaking boldly about the topic.

Any notion that the term "conspiracy theory" was coined in the 1960s is utter nonsense.

A simple web search shows the term had been in regular use since before JFK's father was born.

“Our government is totally corrupt. Anyone that cannot see that is blind or willfully complicit.”

This is -of course- true. However, the REAL problem has been that there is a majority of so called “conservatives” who believe that our government “at one time” was truly GOOD. This is utter crap. Governments by definition cannot be good. Our corrupt government was hampered in its corruption by a broad populace of good PEOPLE, but the principle of self serving, swindling, using war for personal profit and power... those permeate the state as far back as the books go.

The romantic, idealistic, silly vision of Norman Rockwell “patriots” with hand over hearts being a force for good in the world and saving the world from tyranny while rippling stars and stripes waved and grieving wives/parents/children honored the sacrifice of those who “keep us free” by marching off to God knows where and dying.... and this is a part of why “we are good.” —— I am telling you this is a GOD D&MNED LIE, and a weak pathetic excuse for spilling young men’s blood for the sake of the powerful. War is a RACKET, and the business of the state is war.

The great genius of this country was a government that was hardly a government at all, and what power it had was to be used to force the busybody, morally pretentious, “i know better than you and i will PROTECT you” crowd from power and getting their hands in our pockets. We have abandoned that vision. We did it LONG before Barak Obama or Bill Clinton.

The flat out stupid refusal of so called “conservatives” who hid behind “patriotism” to justify one blood letting orgy after another in Korea, then Vietnam, then the middle east, then Afghanistan, and now, if we just had George Bush back, we would be charging out the door to Ukraine, lustily sending men to their deaths proclaiming we are “making the world safe for democracy” and shouting down with fervor those who question this madness as “not supporting our troops.”

Until CONSERVATIVES can walk away from the John Boltons, the Dick Cheneys, the Wolfowitzes, the Rumsfields and their collection of blood dripping gliterati, we will be sold up the river by a government who ALWAYS needs more power, more money, more authority... to “protect” us.

The big problems has been that conservatives believed their crap. NO state is good. Its inherent evil is kept in check by those who insist (by force if necessary) it get its filthy, cash gorging, tyranny loving scaly head back, or we will kill it. THAT is a true patriot.

The USA is past saving. The voices were there. We refused to listen. Time to pay the piper.
