One would note with a cynical eye that this covers the timeframe for the current crop of students to pass through the system and get a diploma. They get theirs and the following classes can absorb the increased tuition.

One of the things I find fascinating is the relatively little talk about how these bastions of liberalism and communism are not held accountable for the price of tuition. The govt takes over loans, everybody can get ever increasing amounts and these institutions raise and raise their rates collect the money all the while their professors and administrators screech about the evils of capitalism.

When I went to college back in 1980 full time 12 and above credits was 299 which was affordable even on my 2$ minimum wage
