Let me guess, they’re ‘investigating’ prior to having any knowledge or evidence of a crime.

Unless they can demonstrate a reason/predicate for the investigation, this is illegal, a 4A violation.

How do "prominent attorneys" get access to government documentation containing private personal information without participation of the government?
